  1. Hi,
I got an issue since the last update: the “week number” is displayed in monday, aking the agenda crowded.

I’ve looked everywhere in the options and can’t find a way to disable it.

    Thanks,

    • Hi,
In which type of view is the week number displayed? I think Calendar Pad doesn’t have a feature that shows week number in Monday.
      Thank you,

      • Well it does…
it’s written “Week 27 of 2011″ as it will be done for a birthday, on the first day of the week (Monday for me).
What do you mean by “type of view”? The number id displayed in the widget and the normal program.

        Thanks you,
        Marnus

  2. Hi, have just moved from HTC Desire to Sensation. I used My Backup Pro to move everything across, some things worked some didn’t. Anyway, I dont have the widget option now. I have tried to download from new again, but market just says it is already installed and opens the app.
I don’t want to delete calendar pad pro in case I lose all notes, tasks etc.

    Any ideas??
    Otherwise great app.

    Bob

    • Hi Padders,
Uninstalling the app causes just removing customized theme and widget data.
So you can uninstall Calendar Pad without loosing both your events and tasks.
      Thank you,

  3. Deleted tasks in Astrid is still showing up in the calendar, both widget and app.

  4. Just moved to HTC Sensation but due to qHD display resolution (960×540) the widget doesn’t quite fill the screen, leaving empty gaps around the widget.
Would it be possible to have the widget fit better with qHD displays (Motorola Atrix is another one).
    Thanks!

  5. Can you do a scrollable widget?

  6. Hi I switched phones and started with blue font and daily events on my old phone and now it is an unattractive green, how can I get my pretty blue back? Thanks for your help!!!

  7. [...] I’ve been using Calendar Pad, because I like its month view the best, as you can see in this image from the developer’s site: [...]

  8. Question: why is full internet access required?

  9. Hello. I am new to Android and have spent the last four weeks to search for the best calendar app. I think have found it. I used to run Handy Calendar on my previous Nokia E66 (symbian). One thing I miss is both start AND end time of the events in the week view, not only the start time, i.e. “13:00-14:00 Meeting” instead of “13:00 Meeting”. How can I (you) fix it? One more thing. How do I set an event to “private”? //Peter

  10. Upgraded PRO version this morning to v1.39 and it crashes every few minutes. Had to uninstall.

    Thanks

  11. First of all, great app!

I just updated to 3.3.12-free. Week widget’s contents now don’t scale well inside the widget. Changing font size doesn’t help. Month widget is usable, but also looks a bit funny.

HTC Desire S, unrooted, no launchers or other plugins.

    My best,
    Yuri.

  12. Just updated as well and it broke the widgets. They are now zoomed in and not really usable. I can see no way to adjust them.

  13. After the lasrt update the widgets dos’ent fit in to the schreen. It is to big. HTC Wildfire

  14. Great app, my favourite calendar on my Desire/Froyo.

There’s one thing missing, though: I would like to be able to define colours by their RGB code or hex code when editing a theme. It’s very difficult to reproduce the slider positions, when I try to make the same changes to more than one theme.

Changing this in an update would definitely make my day. :-)

  15. I have Droid x2 and CalendarPad Free, It doesn’t sync to computer from Droid but does from computer to Droid. Help please. Thank you

  16. Good app, but (as other apps) no repeating reminder (every 1,2 minutes as long as the user pressed “OK”).
Do you plan to implement such nice functionallity?

    Thank you for answering

  17. I’m having trouble having my calendar sync with gmail. If I enter an appointment on my gmail calendar it shows up on calendar pad on my phone, but if I enter it on calendar pad, it does not show up on my gmail calendar. What am I doing wrong? Or does the app not do this? Thanks

  18. I am trying to get in contact with you regarding licensing your Calender Pad app on our women branded tablet. Do you have an email so I can send you more info?

  19. I looked at the photos on both the Calendar Pad and Calendar Pad Pro and they both show that you can use different colors for events that you enter. So can you change the color of an event in Calendar Pad and if so how. I have recurring events for every day of the month, for example, 1 set is for “working days” and that runs for 4 days, then 4 “days off” and 4 “working nights” and so on.
So when all of these are set the bars that spread over the 4 days all run together so you can’t see where one begins and another ends etc. Does that make sense? I need to be able to make each set a different color so that at a glance I know when each of the “4″ days start and end.
So what exactly is the difference between the two and how do you change colors of the entire calendar?
    Thanks so much

    • Hi Rhonda,
Event colors depend on settings of Google Calendar. You can change the colors by setting up calendars on full browser version of Google Calendar.
      Thank you,

  20. Hi,

as other users already posted on the Android market, most of my calender entries are gone on the smartphone (Samsung Galaxy, Gingerbread) bur visible on the Google calender.

    Pleas give me an advice!

  21. I have an HTC Inspire w/Froyo. At least twice a day, the day widget fails to display the appts for the day. The only way I can get them back is to change something, anything, in Calendarpad Pro settings and then return to the home screen. I don’t see a “refresh” button anywhere on the widget. Is this a known bug or is there something I can or should do differently? Other than that, the widget works great and is a nice addition to the standard calendar. Thanks,

  22. Hi,
I’m using CalendarPad Pro on an HTC Desire S to view and manage my Google Calendar.
I use my PC to add an event to Google Calendar and set a reminder (10 min., popup) for the event.
I then look in CalendarPad Pro on my phone and I can see that the event has been added, but if I go to the details of the event, it shows “no reminder”.
I would expect the event to have the reminder settings I entered in Google Calendar.
    Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks,
    Karen

    • Hi Karen,
Calendar Pad (and stock calendar) shows alert type reminders but doesn’t show email/sms reminder by design.
      Thank you,

  23. Hello, i own a HTC Sensation and a user of Calendar Pad Pro, and as with most HTC phone shipping out now, the new HTC sense changed the default maps application when clicked within a calendar event; instead of opening Google Maps it opens HTC Locations. This is very annoying since HTC Locations is slower and worst, you need to pay for it. There is growing frustration on android forums such as XDA etc. If i may make a suggestion for further versions, perhaps you could add the possibility to choose the default maps app when clicking on events. May bring you some new customers…

  24. Hi,

there is an issue with calender entries in Google Calender created through the mobile are set to “Status:tentative” not “status:confirmed”. When synchronised with lightning and Thunderbird they apear as transparent events. This is happening since a couple of weeks now. Could this be fixed in calender pad, or is that a general android problem?

    Thanks,
    Aljoscha

  25. I have analyzed the existing calendar programs and have that your Calendar Pad has the best layout for viewing time-frames and moving between events quickly. However, the program is missing non-time based task/memo list for those items that don’t require the full data to set up. I very much liked the Jorte product for this important feature… I would encourage you to integrate a similar function for quick input non time based tasks etc. Also, I had an idea to share: Usually, if you want to comfortable view your agenda (and tasks), the Week-at-Glance tends to be the most useful given the limits on size of screen… therefore I suggest the following: (1) Do not hard format the layout of the 8 squares…. Allow the screen to accomodate the reality of the tasks i.e., give more space to Monday if there are more events than in Tuesday… let the format simply adjust and resize then optimize the aesthetics for the remaining space, (2) Normally in the eighth square you place the date which is a handy visual reference as well as the convenient way back to the Month-at-Glance… However, if you are going to stay with the current rigid format of the Week-at-Glance then consider the following enhancement… use the square that currently holds Thursday and convert that space into the Non-time based task list as discussed earlier… Obviously that will mean that there is one less square i.e., 6 squares for 7 days, however, it is common practice in other daytimer models to put Sat and Sun into the last square with each only allotted half the space of the square. Good luck.

  26. Have both Calendar Pad and Things To Do. Only issue is that the to do item for Monday is not showing up in the week or month view. If I change settings in calendar pad for Sunday to be first day then the tasks for Sunday does not show up in the week or month view. They do show up in daily view. It just happens to the first day of the week (Monday or Sunday, which ever you have set). Please advise on how to correct this. Thanks.

    • Hi Lance, Thank you for reporting the issue. That seems a Calendar Pad’s bug, so I will fix around the next release.
